VFO was in the studio last week recording Schaun Tozer’s score for the upcoming Canadian comedy No Clue, written by and starring Brent Butt, directed by Carl Bessai. After the sessions, Carl gave us a moment of his time and shared his thoughts on the advantages of recording live musicians for film scores. Last week was a busy one for the VFO – we were in CBC Studio One with composer / conductor Brahm Wenger, recording over an hour of score for Disney’s upcoming release , “Super Buddies,” the latest adventure in the long-running Buddies film franchise (available on DVD August 27).
